Menu Plan Monday

It was a super, fun-filled weekend, and our sweet Ava turned FOUR!!  I can't believe it's already been four years since I gave birth to this precious girl.......what a true blessing and joy she is!!

Although the weekend was full of events and fun, Luke, Anna and myself are a little under the weather........All symptoms are pointing to the common cold, but we're keeping an eye on it, just in case it might be something worse.  We're praying for quick recoveries!

So, once again, we're to another Monday!  I tell ya, I love Menu Planning, it is such a godsend, but, there are some weeks when I just can't seem to fully execute every meal-----and last week was one of them.  I just couldn't quite get it all together every night of the week last week, and we ended up with a couple make-shift, simple meals, but, hey.......there was still food on the table, right?!  :-)  I still felt guilty for not following through on the plan, but I know I need to learn to give myself a break every now and then!  If things don't always work out the way we had planned.......it's OK.  Really.  It's OK.

So, with that said.......here's my plan for this week:

Monday--Spaghetti and Meatballs, Green Salad, Garlic Bubble Bread

Tuesday--Baked Chicken, Lentils and Rice

Wednesday--Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs, Baked Potatoes, Corn

Thursday--Meatloaf, Mashed potatoes (Both from freezer stash), green beans

Friday--Homemade Pizza and Banana/Kale Milkshakes

Oh, and by the way, I keep forgetting to mention a STELLAR highlight from our Menu Plan a few weeks ago:

THIS Honey Mustard Chicken was Deeeeeeeeelicious!!!

Have a wonderful week!!!!

  1. The garlic bubble bread and honey mustard chicken sound delicious!! Did your daughter enjoy the chicken as well? My son is 3 1/2 and I was curious... he loves chicken, so I'm sure he would love it too! Thanks

  2. Yes, my daughter enjoyed it! Although, she's picky about textures, so she peeled all the skin off the thighs (which took away a lot of the flavor of the sauce!), but devoured all the chicken! :-)
