Faithful Friday

We have a pretty regimented night-time routine, and part of the routine consists of "getting cozy" on Mommy and Daddy's bed, singing a few songs, and praying.  Every night we ask the kids who they want to pray for and so many times they'll say things like "Pray for Blankie" or "Pray for Trains."  (So, we always add blankie and trains into our prayers!) And, we always ask them where Jesus lives.....they both always point to their chests and say "Heart."  And we try to talk to them about asking Jesus into their hearts.

But, two nights ago was a little different, so sweet, and just too precious for words.

We asked Lukie who he wanted to pray for, and instead of telling us "who" or "what", he started praying on his own, and he said five of the sweetest words I have heard in a long time:

"Dear Jesus.....in my heart."
We truly think that Lukie was asking Jesus into his heart!!!!

And, right after he prayed his prayer, instead of saying his usual, "I'm so proud!"

He said:

"Mommy, I'm soooooo happy!!!"
